7 Quilt Projects you can totally finish in time for Christmas

Maybe you're a better planner than I am, but it is usually around mid-December that I start to think about holiday shopping. I, obviously, love giving handmade gifts, but there is only so much time in the day. Can I get an 'Amen'? Here are 7 different projects, you can totally finish in time for the big day. Remember, all of my patterns include multiple sizes and finishing options, so you can turn any of them into a wall hanging, quilt, or other project.

1. Skyline Quilted wall hanging

Perfect for your loved one in another city. I have over 80 different city skyline patterns, from San Francisco to Boston, and from Vancouver  to Sydney. This post gives you some more details about pattern options.

2. Animal Throw Quilt

Choose a sweet animal for that special kiddo in your life to snuggle with.  I have dozens of different animals to choose from, available as digital PDF patterns and some are available as printed patterns too!
Wandering Bear Strip Quilt-3
For the bear, I made a simple strip pieced background to put the sweet bear on. Tutorial for him can be found here.
Lion Quilt-2
You can also, just place the animal on a solid piece of fabric for the background, like I did with the lion, deer bust, flock of birds, and bunny! Quick and easy. All these patterns are available as both printed and PDF patterns.

3. Tablet / Computer Sleeve

Fun and useful gift for the tech lover in your life. See the tutorial for this pattern, here. All of my patterns come in multiple sizes (this is the size small) so you could choose an animal for the appliqué piece or a skyline.

I love these guys-- they are so fast and adorable. I have dozens of animal patterns from you to choose from, too! Find the tutorial for these guys here.

Did I mention that all the patterns include multiple sizes? So with one pattern, you could make tea towels, a tote bag, pillows, a wall hanging, and a quilt! And all these projects sew up very quickly, most can be finished in a day or weekend. Happy sewing!

What thread an stitch length do you use for your application?

I bought the octopus pattern and I made it as a baby quilt. I loved it by the way. I was just wondering that the picture you have on your website it looks bigger. Is there a bigger pattern I need to buy? Or did they just enlarge it.
Thanks by the way. I’ve used the letters you gave us quite often. I really enjoy your work.

How much time do you need to finish one project? Your jobs are in sooth marvelous:) I’m so excited to have found this useful blog. I’m dreaming about to make tea towels, a tote bag, pillows, a wall hanging, and a quilt as well!

I’m so glad! I can finish most of these in one day. Some, like the quilts, may take a little longer, but I can get the top done in a day, usually!
