Learn how to take tiny scraps of fabric and turn them into gorgeous, modern quilts using Shannon's signature technique-- Scrappy Applique. Have you been afraid to try applique for fear that it'd be too tedious? Fear not! This technique is quick, easy, fun, and allows for a lot of creative possibilities. Are you a more advanced quilter looking for something new to try? Welcome-- Shannon has developed many finishing options that range from beginner to expert; you will explore this fun method and create something completely unique.
Applique can be tedious. It can be daunting. Or it can be fast, easy, and awesome! In this class, Shannon teaches her modern and unique raw-edge applique techniques and takes you step-by-step through her fun and creative process. What makes this class different from the Scrappy Applique Class, is that the class will be making a zoo-- choose your favorite animal and practice your new skills! At the end of the class, you will have created a beautiful and unique quilt top and have a tool belt full of all you need to design and create your own "Scrappy Bits" quilts!
